 IIA 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. J. RES. 81 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES September 18 (legislative day, September 16), 2025 Mr. Kaine (for himself, Mr. Paul , Mr. Schumer , Mrs. Shaheen , Mr. Wyden , Mr. Welch , and Mr. King ) introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance JOINT RESOLUTION Terminating the national emergency declared to impose duties on articles imported from Brazil. That, pursuant to section 202 of the National Emergencies Act ( 50 U.S.C. 1622 ), the national emergency declared on July 30, 2025, by the President in Executive Order 14323 (90 Fed. Reg. 37739) is terminated.
