 IA 119th CONGRESS 1st Session H. J. RES. 78 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 21, 2025 Mr. LaMalfa (for himself, Mr. Calvert , Mr. Fong , Mr. Issa , Mrs. Kim , Mr. McClintock , and Mr. Valadao ) submitted the following joint resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Natural Resources JOINT RESOLUTION Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service relating to Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for the San Francisco Bay-Delta Distinct Population Segment of the Longfin Smelt . 
 That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service relating to Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for the San Francisco Bay-Delta Distinct Population Segment of the Longfin Smelt (89 Fed. Reg. 61029; published July 30, 2024), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
